Wordless Wednesday – Lawn and Garden
This entry was posted in Country Gardening, My Photos and tagged gardening, lawn, summer, sunlight and shadow, wordless wednesday. Bookmark the permalink.

Both the lawn and the garden are immensely appealing, but the woods behind the garden look just as delightful!
Thank you, Linda… we enjoy it all, so grateful to live in this lovely place. 🙏🏼
Both lovely in their own way, but for some strange reason I am drawn to the picture of the dappled lawn. Maybe it’s because I live on the edge of the woods.
Dappled shade has always been attractive to me as well. Not sure why, must be some primeval pull. 🙂
Maybe so! Good point.
Delightful
Thank you, Sheree!
What a beautiful garden you have!
Thank you, Anne. I have other gardens, but they don’t get the attention this one does. Mostly because I look at this one all the time, lol!
Wonderful views…..and also thanks to the rain.
Yes, indeed, rain has been a blessing. Thanks, Alice. 🙂
Your garden looks like something from a beautiful park!
A lovely thought… thank you, Maria!
❤
Such a lovely vista. I imagine running barefoot across the lawn, slowing down to walk through the flower beds, and then disappearing into the shady woods to explore! 😁
Thank you, Cathy. A lovely thought…I seldom go barefoot outside anymore… too many slugs! 🤣
A sunny lawn and garden surrounded by a lovely shaded woodland — the best of the great outdoors in summer.
And I so appreciate it… thanks, Barbara! 💚
I see lawns as basically sterile (although they are calming to contemplate). But meadows & flower gardens are FULL of life!
Very true, but judging from the birds that perch and hawk over my lawn, along with the robins hunting there, there is a benefit to a chemical-free lawn with violets, dandies, etc. in it. 🙂
You have it all. Lawn, garden and woods.
Thanks, I feel quite blessed and fortunate to have found this little paradise. 🙂
Lush and lovely, the epitome of glorious summer!
Thank you, Tina. I do love New England summers (except for those heat waves)! 😉
Summer is glorious in your part of the country, Eliza!

I must agree, Kris. I am grateful to live here. Summers are getting warmer, but it is still pretty darn good!
Sigh 🌹
🙂 Thanks, Isha!
Proof that beauty comes in many ways. Lovely, both!
Thank you, Dale! 🙂
You are so welcome!
One could get spoiled looking out on a view like this — very lovely, Eliza!
Thank you, Debbie. It’s a beautiful place to call home. 🙂
Beautiful. The flower garden looks so tidy and loved.
Thank you, Susie. I try to keep up with it, but somehow the weeds always manage to put out enough seeds to start over the following spring!
love the light and different greens
Thank you very much!
😃
Pretty dappled light, I really like the image of the flowery woodland border.
Thank you, Tom. You’re too kind… I’m afraid I’ve become lazy since I got my cell phone when my Nikon would do a better job. Less detail, but more impressionism. 😀
Beautiful,my friend.
Thank you, Gary!
My kind of place. Beautiful with a gentleness. x Michele
Thank you for such a lovely comment! 💕
You have a lovely garden, and all that delightful green 😊
Thank you, Belinda. It gives us great joy. 🙂
What a gorgeous place to spend your days!🙂
I must agree, it feels like heaven to me. 🙂
