Beautiful
Thank you!
They do have the loveliest sound! (And he was my not-so silent Sunday!)
Agreed!
😉
Precious is the word that comes to mind.
Aw, yes… I love these sweet birds!
Great shot ELiza!!!
The sparrow looks ready to burst into song!
It is quite the songster. I just added a link to hear its song, if you are interested. Not sure why I didn’t think of it earlier when I first posted!
I enjoyed listening to it song – thank you for the link, Eliza.
Glad you enjoyed it, Anne. 🙂
Beautiful 🤩
Thank you, Karen!

I will like that… 🕊
The song of summer! Nice catch, Eliza!
Thank you, Steve!
Perfect shot!
Thank you, Judy!
Sweet! I can almost hear the song as the little bird contemplates what to sing next.
They have a cheerful song that I look forward to every year. 🙂
Now I know which bird is singing, outside my window! Your cute photo & going to YouTube! Thank you!!
🙂 Thanks, Alice!
beautiful, delicate, sensitive. a life inside the eyes!
Thanks much!
What a cutie! I love their songs. Nice capture, Eliza!
Thank you, Barbara. How was the move?
Exhausting! But it went well, all things considered.
I had no idea there are sparrows who sing. I only hear them ‘chipping.’ I need to be more attentive!
This one is quite the songster! https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Song_Sparrow/sounds
Beautiful little bird…(Suzanne)
Thank you, Suzanne. He earns his name!
Such a light-colored sparrow. Mine did not come this year. Usually, they empty the feeders in no time.
It could be the exposure… it was early morning. 🙂
So adorable and a great image. 😊
Thank you, Pepper!
So sweet, in song and repose.
Thank you, Kris. 🙂
Sweet & great shot!

Sweet shot 😊
Thanks, Belinda!
Stunning! 👌
Thank you, Priti!
☺️🙏
Was the song sparrow singing when you observed it?
Yes, it was. A male, I presume?
Dear Eliza, this was such a sweet summer day you shared, I loved the multi-dimensional effect with the photo and song recording. Even though I hear this heartwarming song nearly every day, I still went to the recording and listened, because we can never have too many song sparrows singing to us. Much appreciated.
Thank you, Jet. Birdsong is a balm any time of day. 🙂
They earn their name perfectly ❤️
They surely do! 🙂
Thanks for including the link to the sound of these Sparrows. Cute to look at and lovely to listen to. 🙂
Thank you, Vicki. Their song is a cheery one. 🙂
Greetings from Aussie. Beautiful and a lovely shot 🙂 ❤ 🙂
Thank you, Deepa!
I really appreciate Song Sparrows, especially in the middle of the winter, when they might be the only songsters around.
Ours go south, so it is a treat to see them return. 🙂
Of course. Enjoy them while they are there.
Oh, how sweet. Great capture and background.
Thanks much, Denise!
A lovely setting and a cute bird – love it!
Many thanks, Caroline! 🙂
What a cute bird – I enjoyed your photo and also seeing it in action and hearing its song in the link you provided.
Thanks, Carol. It may be brown and plain, but it makes up for it in song.
That’s a really beautiful image.
Thank you, Wayne.
You’re welcome ☺️
