Beautiful color!
Thank you, Sandy… I love that deep pink!
Me too.
Peony and friends look great!
Thank you, Ellen! 🙂
Wow! A grand show! 💞
Thank you, Isha! x
🌹❤️ x
What an intricate looking flower when viewed from the top.
Thank you, Anne. Peonies are so wonderful this time of year.
That peony is EXQUISITE Eliza!!!!
Thank you, Dee!
Oh, Grandma’s favorite!
I think she had lots of company, such a lovely perennial!

Thank you, Karen! 🙂
Such a rich colour. Just lovely
Thank you, Karina. x
So pretty!!!
Thank you, Barbara! 🙂
That is one amazing photo, Eliza. 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you, Judy!
Lovely! Different from the standard peony. I like it better.
Thank you, Laurie! It is a single, not as common as the familiar double bloom. I love its rich color!
A harmonious bouquet, lovely photo and the scent….
Thank you, Alice. The peonies have been splendid this year!
I’m not sure I’ve seen a single. The surrounding colors set it off beautifully.
Thank you, Linda. Yes, those big, fluffy types steal the spotlight, but the singles can be quite beautiful as well.
The peony is a beauty. Wonderful composition too!
Thank you, Belinda! I’m loving that it is garden bouquet season again. 🙂
😊
Awesome shot of Tree Peony flower, and other flowers as well!
Thank you, Hien. Actually, this is a single P. lactiflora bloom, but it does look a lot like the Itoh types. I wish I did have tree peonies, but their prices have always given me pause!
What a gorgeous peony Eliza and such a lovely bouquet too! 🌺💗🌺
Thank you, Xenia! x
I have no idea the name but one of our peonies resembles this one of yours. It’s hard to beat a peony for beauty unless it’s a dahlia. 🙂
The peony has the advantage of scent, but the dahlia’s bloom season is much longer. Both rank high in my book!
‘Tis the season of the peony! Beautiful. And, I’m thinking, one that I will eventually add to my garden… when I am ready to start work on it, that is!
Thank you, Dale. Mail order now for fall delivery! 😉
Hah! Fall will be preoccupied with a kitchen remodel so… maybe next year.
Definitely, both are worth looking forward to! Don’t forget to take ‘before’ photos. 😉
Fear not, I shall!!
Muy bonito !
Gracias!
I love peonies – favorite flower hands down,
They are just so scrumptious! I love bringing a few blooms inside to scent up the house. 🙂
💖🤗💖
Thank you, Susan. 🙂
I love peonies, but I can’t abide all those ants! It seems like every time I try to sniff one, it’s full of them. I suppose they, too, need to eat though, huh?!
Ah, yes, the ants provide a symbiotic service, helping open up the buds. A good shake dislodges them I find. 🙂
This is pleasantly colorful arrangement.
Thanks, Steve, glad it appealed to you. 🙂
A peek inside! Love all the colors, Eliza!
Thank you, Donna! 🙂
SO envious….
🙂 Living in cold, moist climate helps. We enjoy the benefits of both zones, however. At least, we can share them vicariously!
Great angle and beautiful colours!
Thank you, Maria! x
gorgeous shot Eliza
Thank you, Sylvia!
Beautiful image Eliza! Enjoyed seeing your image!
Thank you, Reed. 🙂
An elegant peony. Great color and form on this one.
Thank you, Susie. Never met a peony I didn’t love. 🙂
What a treat. The peony would be lovely alone but the other flowers and foliage add so much extra.
Thank you, Susan!
Beautiful Eliza 🙂
Thank you, Deepa!
Very pretty natural arrangement! I think peonies are some of the most beautiful of flowers.
Thank you, Denise! They are such voluptuous flowers. 🙂
Not a profusion of peonies, but a profusion of petals and leaves.
🙂 Thanks, Tanja!
Thank you for this summer delight, Eliza.
My pleasure, Jet!
Lovely, lovely, lovely, Eliza. My grandmother used to grow peonies when I was a small girl. I’ve just found your site. You have a great eye! 🌞
Thank you very much, Lisa!
Oh, that is so beautiful!! ♥♥♥
Thank you, Robin! Peonies are among my garden favorites. 🙂
A beautiful blend of colors, and a wonderful shot of a peony, one of my favorites (the flower of Hong Kong, which always holds a special place for me).
Thank you, Randall. Peonies evoke happy memories for most people, I find. I only wish the bloom time wasn’t so fleeting!
One of my favorite flowers. What a beautiful photograph, Eliza! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Bela! x
Beautiful and the peony stamens are remarkable.
Thank you, Carol. Peonies are such beautiful flowers, their beauty and scent make them June favorites.
Such a cheerful mix of color, Eliza!
Thank you, Julie!
Such lovely flowers…(Suzanne)
Thank you, Suzanne!
