Thank you, John. I felt we snowbound folks here in the NE needed a bit of sunshine. 🙂
Beautiful!
Thank you, Harold!
A reminder that you won’t be buried in snow forever. Spring will come.
Thank you, Su. We got off pretty easy this time, being on the western edge. The windchill was incredible, though! This too, shall pass. 🙂

Pingback: Silent Sunday – Sunny Flowers | Purplerays
What a wonderful thing to see first thing in the morning!!
Thanks, Chris… a bit of hope for warmer days ahead. 🙂
Bet those aren’t from your garden right now!! Did you get hit hard by the storm?
No, just a bit of conjuring up summer vibes. 🙂 We got off easy with just a few inches, while eastern MA got walloped. I bet your family is dealing with a lot of snow right now.
We just got a dusting of snow this weekend, thankfully. And a week of temps in the 40’s predicted so it will be gone soon I hope!
Yes, it can’t last forever!
What a beautiful sunny bouquet! Piles & piles of snow now, water for the bulbs & flowers later.
Now, that’s a welcome sight. 🙂
Indeed… I couldn’t bear to post another snow or ice photo, ha!
So bright and lovely!
Thank you, Laurie! Stay warm. 🙂
Same to you!
Mood savior!
Yes, we need a bit of a break! 🙂
Summer dreams… Thanks for the dab of sunshine! ☀️
My pleasure, Barbara. Stay warm!
These are perfect for a minus 6 degree morning!
Yes, I thought so, too! 🙂
A sunny photo for the winter.
Thank you, we northerners have had a bit of a time lately. 😉 A bit of sunshine and warmth is in order!

Soon…..
Yes, patience is needed! 🙂
Bringing us warmth through your lovely photo!
Trying to! I felt we needed a bit of a break from the cold. 🙂
You and me both… I look out my window at the blue skies and sunshine… It’s -22F! I ain’t goin’ out there…
Oh, Lord, that is wicked. I thought the minus 20 windchill last night was bad enough. I would stay inside, too. Stay cosy!
Sorry… that is the windchill 😉 I don’t bother with the real temp… if it feels like a temp, it is the temp! 😉
IT has actually “warmed up” to -13…
🙂 ❤
Sunshiny pretty!
Thank you, Donna!

So many shades of yellow make for a lovely combination. What’s the pale one in the center? My guess is Zinnia of some sort. It’s a beautiful flower.
Thank you, Linda. Yes, it is a zinnia, one of a mixed packet. Needed some sunshine today!
Ahhh, I enjoyed the color and hope and vibrancy of this lively summer bouquet, Eliza.
Thank you, Jet. I felt like we all needed a bit of summer today. 🙂
🤩❤️🤩
Thanks, Susan! x
They warmed my heart!
Glad to know it, Sandy… I needed to share a Calgon moment. 😉
Bringing a little summer sunshine yellow in the deep of the winter–wise choice, Eliza!
Thanks, Tina. I figured most of us could use a bit of a mood booster!
Flower Therapy!
Exactly! 🙂 I needed a good dose today after yesterday’s storm and the continued frigid weather.
Thanks for the sunshine Eliza! ☀️
You’re welcome, Cathy, my pleasure. I felt a bit of a floral boost was in order. 🙂
What a sunny photo 😊
Thanks, Belinda. A little break from our regularly scheduled programming. 😉
You know, Eliza, after looking out at so much white all over everywhere, it’s delightful seeing some color again. How I’m looking forward to Spring!
A bit of perspective is a good thing… 🙂 thanks, Debbie!
Lovely flowers to help ignore the snowy cold days!🙂 Glad to read you did not get a major snowfall!🙂
Thank you! A little escapism is in order from time to time. 😉
Some cheery yellows for a winter day, thank you

Thank you, Xenia! x
Your throwback to summer even warms me up! I hope the storm wasn’t too bad and that it’s already moving on out.
Thank you, Kris! It was a beautiful, blue-sky day today, but still very cold. I think it reached 17º for about a hour or so before sliding down again. Still, I went out for a walk… the fields were beautifully sculpted by the wind, the weeds and grasses creating hills of snow and etched rubbings from the movement of dried grass and fern. Too cold for the camera, alas.
Thanks, I needed a ray of sunshine, Eliza. ☀️
🙂 Thank you kindly, Jane. ❤
Beautiful flowers Eliza
Hi Carole, nice to see you here! Thanks much.

Beautiful warm colors we need right now!
So true… thanks, Donna!
