Memories of autumn for me.
I bet fall is probably the one season you miss the most. Do you have any maples that grow in your area that color up?
Nope. The most colorful trees are Redbuds, which are only good in some years and Chinese Tallow, which are invasive.

Yes, it is. This particular tree for some reason does not form an excision layer in the fall, so the leaves hang on for most of the winter like beech do. A curious thing!
