    Hello Eliza – what a wonderful picture: we are 3°C here at 7.40 a.m. even though the sun is fingering its way into our drought-stricken garden. Happy Solstice!

    Hooray for the solstice and the beginning of summer! It’s at this time of year when I miss being further north where one can work in the garden all night long (without artificial light.) Beautiful picture!

    Happy Summer Solstice, Eliza! We’re having a heatwave, although it’s not nearly as bad as the one that kicked off summer last year, at least here along the coast. Our inland valleys are cooking!
