Lovely :). And hopefully you’ll get some monarch butterflies feeding on that milkweed when the time is right …
Thank you, Rebecca. Yes, I hope all its seeds find fertile ground, grow and nourish many monarchs!
Seasonal grace. Beautiful.

Aw, thank you kindly, Laurie!
Awesome picture! I like the composition of this one.

A lovely autumnal embrace. The two lovers clinging to each other as winter approaches.
🙂 It seemed like that. Thanks, Peter.
Wonderful composition and image. These milkweed pods do make great subjects!
Thank you! Don’t they? They seem to glow from within.
Like a Monday vase from nature!
Exactly! 🙂
I love this, Eliza. I love your photo and your name for it. I have been trying to find some milkweed that will grow where we are. There may be a couple of species that will grow here, but I don’t know which is best for Monarchs. Hopefully find something by spring. Thanks for a lovely image.
Thank you, Mary. High Country Gardens is in NM, I think. http://www.highcountrygardens.com/wildflower-seeds/mixtures/monarch-butterfly-perennial-wildflower-seed-collection

There’s nothing quite like the thick, golden November light. It illuminates the most ordinary things. And milkweed pods never lose their beauty, do they? Even when empty, the inside is exquisite.
Agreed. Thanks for your visit, Brenda. 🙂
So pretty – such grace.
Thank you, Kathy. 🙂
What a perfect garden moment.
Thank you, Linda.
So beautiful – in itself and through your photo ❤ Seeing the familiar shape of that pod, I realize that I miss our old wild milkweed; I recently planted a desert species and am hoping it does well.
Thank you so much. I hope your new plants prosper!
