Gorgeous light!
Thank you, Sandy!
A beautiful capture.
Thank you, Anne. 🙂
Lovely. The light is changing, isn’t it!
Thank you, Cathy. It really is and a part of me just can’t believe it is almost Sept. Where did the summer go?
a world inside a world inside a world
🙂 Thanks, Gary.
Wonderful shade of green.
Thank you, Teresa!
a lovely image, Eliza…
Thank you, J&A!
💖
What an amazing leaf…almost oak-y. Needed to look this plant up…..and it has plumes of flowers.
Oh! Love the light on this one! Beauty!
Thank you, Dale! 🙂
😊
What pretty leaves! Different shape.
Thank you, Laurie. The photo doesn’t show it, but it has a fine white powder covering the backside, which creates a beautiful contrast when the wind blows.
What a beautifully lobed leaf. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one so deeply cut — and the backlighting really makes it shine!
Thank you, Linda. It is a huge plant and makes quite a statement!
Interesting plants they are, great shot!
Thank you, Maria!
It’s a major plus when plants with lovely blooms also have beautiful foliage!

Thank you, Kris. It’s blooming now and is esp. lovely. 🙂
The beauty of green!
Indeed, I am a sucker for backlit leaves. 🙂
It’s such a lovely way to highlight nature.
Yes, I simply am smitten by it. 🙂
This resembles some kind of oak, I think. Lovely lighting, Eliza!
Thank you, Debbie. Actually, it is in the Papaveraceae family, true to its name.
Lovely and fresh looking. Ours are getting a bit tatty now.
Thank you, I love them best on a breezy day when the white backs are exposed– so attractive. 🙂
The light is so perfect this time of year and I think the leaf is enjoying it, too.
🙂 It is, thanks, Barbara.
Pretty leaves. I also had to look up this plant. My first thought was that I was looking at oak leaves, to my eye, they show similarities.
Thank you, Tanja. They do look like oak, I agree. Tough to show scale here, but they are large leaves, at least 6″ or larger.
Beautiful photo, you caught the light just right!
😎 Thank you, Belinda!
Love the backlighting and the leaf shape.
Thank you, Tom. 🙂
Such a pretty leaf shape, nice shot!
Wonderful lighting on this bright leaf but dark background!
Thank you, Denise!
