“Don’t be concerned about the length of the road or the destination. Everything is changing. Whatever you pass, don’t cling to it. Eventually the mind will reach its natural balance where practice is automatic. All things will come and go of themselves.” ~Ajahn Chah

What an exquisite sky!
Thank you, Monika!
Happy Solstice!
Thank you, are there any celebrations you’ll be attending?
Yes, we had one celebration yesterday with the children at school. We picked flowers on Tuesday, made a midsummer pole with flowers and birch leaves on Wednesday. Yesterday two musicians (accordion and violin) lead a parade followed with the children carrying the midsummer pole while singing to our place of celebration. We placed the pole at the ceremonial place (right next to our school garden), danced around it and sang the traditional songs. The children that wanted to try playing violin did so, and then we had ice cream together. The whole process of picking the flowers, making the midsummer pole and the celebration was all very successful. Lots of happy faces all around.
Miss H and I might go to a celebration tonight. We are invited to two different ones, it all depends to how she feels.
I love the traditions of Sweden. I knew there would be some great events for you to attend. 🙂
Are you going to celebrate?
We’re in the middle of a horrible heat wave. Except for early morning/evening forays into the garden, we’ve been staying inside. So hard to do when the garden is calling! 😉
I understand. Be safe my friend.
🙏🏼 💕

Beautiful photography. I like how the flowers to the left, make the surrounding greenery look as if it is ablaze, embers showing through the foliage.
