Wordless Wednesday – Moo!
This entry was posted in Country Living, My Photos and tagged farm animals, Highland Cattle, Wordless Wednesday. Bookmark the permalink.

The Scottish cattle are so charming.
Truly! 🙂
One of my childhood friends had Highland cattle and they were always escaping! Thank you for all the fun memories 🙂 They are very cute animals, especially the babies.
They are an endearing breed, very sturdy, too!
QT’s!
Yes! 🙂
Adorable dang things. Reminded me when I was a kid, ever spring and fall, a cattle drive would go right down our street and through “downtown” Grass Valley. Us kids would sit on the front fence like a bunch of cowhands.
Oh, fun memory! Those were the days. 😉
❤️❤️🌞
How can one not be charmed, eh? 🙂
Exactly 💯
They are a handsome breed.
Yes, indeed. Our new neighbors are starting a small herd. 🙂
Love these pictures, Eliza! Wonder what they might say, if they could speak…
“Are you going to feed us?” 😀
Exactly!! 😀
Oh, what fun! They’ll be warm for the winter! Are they neighbors?
Yes, they are… nice neighbors!
Cows of any breed make me smile because I spent every summer on my grandparents small dairy farm. So, thank you for sharing your handsome friends and for the smile this morning.
Glad you liked them, Judy. I grew up around dairy farms, too, so I share your fondness for them.
oh a familiar face.. I love these guys… they make me smile.
So sweet… thanks, Dymoon. 🙂
What a face! Love it!
Aren’t they adorable? 🙂
Utterly!
These moo-ved me to a smile!
Ha, yes, they are so adorable!
So cute Eliza
Aren’t they charming? 🙂
Absolutely
They are really cute cattle in all three photos.
Thank you, Hien. Great new neighbors! 🙂
My paternal grandfather raised these babies (not that I never knew him). This is a lovely image, Eliza.
Thank you, Dale. I couldn’t resist capturing these adorable faces!
With good reason. They really do have adorable faces.
🧡
Moo to you too! The little one is so cute – like a man-sized teddy bear.
🙂 Cute, curious and friendly!
The first one could use an “up do” to better see you!
What’s the breed?
You have some company now to smell the flowers! Have fun watching them grow. 😊
Scottish Highland Cattle. 🙂
Loved seeing these “coos” when I visited Scotland 🏴🤗
Ah, yes, that would be the correct pronunciation, wouldn’t it?! 😉
Such sweet captures Eliza and what fabulous new neighbors to have! 🧡
Thank you, Xenia. I am absolutely in love with them! 🙂
Handsome critter. I love the bangs 🙂
They are quite winsome! 🙂
What majestic moo-vers!! Thanks, Eliza, for a needed smile!
Thanks, Debbie, glad to share!
Definitely the cutest thing I’ve seen today! Those faces!
IKR? Simply adorable!
Aren’t they just the cutest? !
Absolutely! 🧡
Mooooo 😀
🙂
Little beauties! I hope their temperament is as sweet as their faces.
They seem quite docile, but we did have a fence between us, ha!
Love the photos and your new neighbors!!🙂
🙂 Thanks, they are a cute bunch!
Aren’t they lovely!
They were delightfully inquisitive! 🙂
The sweet little calf with his wee horns is adorable!!!
I was charmed by the whole lot of them!
For some reason, looking at the cow in the first photo I almost feel guilty about something. He seems to be looking at me so mournfully.
“You ate my brother!” 🤣
Uh oh 😳
Wonderful Highland cattle
Thanks, Karina. They are a sweet breed.
Adorable!
They surely are! 🙂 🧡
Just way too wonderful!
🙂 Thanks, Julie!
Hi Eliza. Splendid cows!! Always a sight for sore eyes.
MJ
Thanks, MJ, glad it struck a chord… reminding you of your former farming days, I expect.
They are cute! I was noticing some Longhorn cattle the other day. I was surprised that the young ones were already growing horns. Some people here have Yaks and other cattle called Belted Galloway … they are back with a white middle, like Oreos!
They are so sweet. I’ve always been fond of cattle, having grown up near farms. I didn’t realize yaks are raised here as livestock. I know the belted Galloway, too.
