Susie’s arrangement last week reminded me that I haven’t used my floral teapot for an arrangement in a while, so thanks for the inspiration, Susie!
Using a floral glass frog and ‘Annebelle’ Hydrangea for support, I’ve created a mixture of pink, white and green with a touch of purple. Dahlia ‘Pinelands Princess’ and ‘Outta da Blue’, Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), Strawflower (Xerochrysum bracteatum), Astilbe tacquettii, Verbena bonariensis, Gooseneck Loosestrife (Lysimachia clethroides), Hosta flower, Sweet pea (Lathyrus odorata), Love-in-a-mist (Nigella damascena), Flowering tobacco (Nicotiana alata) and Christmas fern (Polystichum acrostichoides).
Thanks to Cathy at Rambling in the Garden for hosting the weekly meme In A Vase on Monday. Check her site to see what other gardeners have created from their gardens this week.

You couldn’t have chosen a more perfect container, Eliza. Gorgeous combo. 💕

I love your teapot. It’s perfect for all your stunning flowers and you’ve blended the arrangement to great effect.
Thank you, Alys. I imagine you have a teapot that could be used to similar effect. 🙂
Oh yes! I have a handful of teapots and I’ll make an effort to use them this way. Mike doesn’t drink tea so I generally make tea for one using my super-cool infuser.
Ho Eliza.
Inspired planting and putting a teapot to excellent use! 😁

It’s lovely Eliza, big and bold, but delicate and feminine at the same time.
Thank you, Andrea!
The teapot alone wouldn’t necessarily appeal to me, but with your arranged flowers, it suddenly came alive. It’s a perfect example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.
Thank you, Linda!
Love the combination— so much to choose from this time of year!
Thank you, Ellen, quite a few different flowers in there!

Oh my goodness, this is delightful! Absolutely gorgeous Eliza! Your teapot is perfect for this beautiful arrangement. I am now inspired to get a teapot out for next week. Amelia has used one this week too. We should perhaps coordinate it one week and have a real tea party! LOL!
Thanks, Cathy! Now that would be a fun idea, perhaps Cathy could suggest it one week? Susie inspired us all!
