Gorgeous! You have nearly caught us up now. Crab apple started flowering here around five days ago. 😃 Isn’t it amazing how quickly your vegetation grows at this time of year. And I thought it was quick here!

Despite so many vivid childhood memories, I don’t remember our two large crabapple trees blossoming. I only remember crabapple jelly, and using the small apples in our various backyard ‘battles.’
I love apple blossoms, such a delicate scent. There was an old orchard behind our house growing up, the beginning of my enchantment. 🙂

This tree was ‘gifted’ to me by a bird and it has turned into such a beautiful tree, filled with bees. I’m in love!

Yes, it is… and amazingly, it was a ‘gift’ from a passing bird that I mowed over the first year, thinking I didn’t want a tree it that spot! But it survived with only a scrape and I decided to see what it would become. Sure glad I did, lol!

Pretty! We have a pink flowering tree that we think is a crab apple but I’m not sure. The fruit is a little smaller than a marble.
Sounds like a crabapple. This tree was absolutely covered in blooms and the pollinators were swarming it, so delightful to see.
The blooms are fuchsia now but lighten up as they open more. The hummingbirds love it!
