I only managed one sunflower this year that I grew from seed – all the rest got eaten by the S&S I imagine. And it only managed to flower in September! I shall try again next year and hope to do better.
Those dreadful mollusks! They and rabbits managed to decimate my first sowing. I’m hoping this coming spring I have better luck.
I think I will try mine in a container!

I just love to see and hear bees in the garden. Mine have long since gone to bed… I look forward to seeing the queens emerge in spring.
