Just lovely – I’m a sucker for lichen. They seem to me as beautiful as the most vibrant flower.

  3. Joanne says:

The whole scene has me imagining a huge array of happy little creatures living among the fallen leaves, cones and pine needles. So pretty too. πŸ™‚

  4. Beautiful, intense colors! I envy you. There is a stand of trees at the edge of my backyard that turn golden yellow each fall. They glow each morning as the sun filters through. I waited all year, hoping to get a few good images, but the Hurricane Eta remnant that came through took off most of the leaves before they could turn. Oh well, maybe next year.
