OH MY GOODNESS!!! ๐๐๐๐๐ I ADORE this!!! ๐๐๐๐๐
๐ Thanks so much, Trini. โค
How beautiful!
Thank you, Fi!
Stillness, presence and beauty โ๏ธ๐
Yes, so soothing… thanks, Karen. โค
It looks like a painting, Eliza. An absolutely gorgeous shot.
Thank you very much, Kris!
Reblogged this on Purplerays.
Thank you for reblogging!
I can feel this photo!
Aw, sweet comment, thanks Cindy. Glad it appeals. โค
I love the picture. ๐
Thank you, glad you do, your visit is much appreciated!
Welcome ๐
Yes – just like a painting. Love that flash of gold from the leaves in the midst of the almost monochrome of the rest.
Thank you very much, Cathy!
This is lovely, I can actually smell that mist…
Thank you so much, Anita, and for reblogging, too. โค
Reblogged this on anita dawes and jaye marie.
That touch of colour is excellent.
Thank you, Derrick. Thankfully, we have persistent oak and beech leaves, otherwise the winter world would be dull indeed.
Mother Nature is fortunate that you took a photo of her gorgeousness.
Aw, thanks, Alice. Glad to be a witness. ๐
A beautifully framed scene.
Thank you very much!
Oh, wow. I love this, Eliza. โค
Thank you, Robin!
What a shot! All it needs is a frame.
๐ Thanks, Judy!
Mystical…..beautiful!
Thank you! The muffled silence that fog brings adds to the mystery. โค
Grabbed my heart and did not let go, Eliza! What a composition!! Whoa!
Thank you so much, Amy!
You are welcome, Eliza!! xo
A beautiful Winter scene Eliza, I love the misty light xxx
Thank you, Xenia!
Beautiful image Eliza! I like the curved branches creating a sort of โwindowโ for the snow covered fallen tree in the water!
Thank you, Reed! I liked that framing, too.
Magical!
Thank you, Ellen!
So lovely Eliza!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Cindy! ๐
Wonderful moody composition. Sigh. Our snow is all gone, revealing the leaves we did not rake this fall.
Thank you, Laurie. I saw on the weather that you got a lot of onshore wind and rain. As you can see, we still have snow despite rain and is now frozen solid 3″ crust. At least the sun is shining today!
Yikes
๐
Just love this image Eliza! So reaching, so mysterious …
Thank you, Kathy! Happy Holidays to you!
Beautiful! I love foggy pictures. There’s just something about the way it shrouds everything.
Thank you! Fog makes everything so soft, a lovely thing. Hope your holidays are merry!
Serene, Zen photo — fantastic.
Thank you, Jet!
Beautiful!
Thank you, Sarah!
Beautiful!
Thank you, Beckie!
You’re most certainly welcome.
Brrrrrr, but beautiful
Thank you, Karina. It wasn’t too bad, at least it was above freezing! ๐
Love this photo Eliza
Thank you, Alison, glad you do! x
This makes me want to grab some hot chocolate and head for the fireplace! Very nice. ๐
Thank you kindly, Jen! Sounds like a great idea. ๐
Lovely fog and snow scene, Eliza!
Thank you, Donna!
I like my eye being drawn deeper until I can’t see anything.
Thank you, David. The branches formed a perfect frame.
Ohh, snow! The foreground branches are very effective.
Thank you, Allison! The snow is more common this time of year than fog, but we do get them together sometimes.
Very well composed, Eliza. Fog and snow, surprisingly typical of our late fall this year.
Thank you, Steve. It seems to be that way this year, a seemingly incongruous combination.
We are being treated to something unexpected and are having a fine time, I think. Happy almost Full Moon, Eliza.
Thanks, Steve. I love the combination of bare trees, snow and moonlight. Pure magic!
Loved the photo and misty mood along the river!๐
Thank you, S! Snow-fog is pretty cool. ๐
Oh, I just want to drift right into this scene. ๐ … and keep on drifting. ๐
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to just float right through here on upstream? ๐
Yep. ๐
A very special and atmospheric shot Eliza.
Thank you, Carol.
In spite of the fact that I much prefer summer and heat, winter can be beautiful! โค
It certainly can, thank you, Carol. Living here we must focus on that beauty!
Such a stunning photograph, Eliza. It’s very seasonal, and I could feel the chill air hit me.
Thank you kindly, Hugh.
Lovely scene! It sure looks cold๐
Thank you, Belinda!
A beautifully haunting landscape Eliza.
Thank you, Andrea.
Beautiful riverscape, Eliza. So nice to have a few autumn leaves to add a little color. Even though I prefer to shoot monochrome images, around this time of year I start looking for whatever little bits of color I can find just for a little winter encouragement.
Thank you, Mic. We do get a bit color-starved in winter, don’t we? ๐
This is one in a million, Eliza.
Thank you, Sandy!
My pleasure. Love it!
The hazy atmosphere makes it magical !
Thank you, Harold, I agree!
Spectacular Eliza, it looks like a dream village. I love the composition. Is this immediately after a snowfall?
Thank you, Maria. I don’t recall exactly, but it was probably a warm spell with rain after previous snowfall.
Nice composition and I like what the fog does to our view of the background. I bet this would work well as a B&W too … since it’s almost there!
Thank you, Denise!
