Yes, amazing what a difference a day makes. We’ve been snowshoeing our trails– breaking trails is hard work so the ‘miles to go before I sleep’ is very apt!

While this was taken from the road, my spouse and Wren snowshoed the trail by the wood edge, Wren breaking trail valiantly. She was pretty exhausted last night – such hard work!

Thank you, Joanna! Winter has arrived with 18″ of snow, and the gardens are snug under their blanket. Unless the temps rise dramatically, we’re snowy white until March. I did hear that parts of NH got 3′ – so glad to have half that and that it wasn’t too wet nor heavy.

I must admit that we do enjoy the beauty of a snowy world (once the snow removal is taken care of!). Wren has been loving her snow baths rolling in the snow (the only kind she likes)!

Sometimes we get a few days thaw and we’re always thrilled to have it, even if the cold comes back.
