  1. Love the picture of the chair, Eliza. I want to be sitting in it 🙂

  2. Samuel says:

This chair is indeed very photogenic ^^

  3. Alice Pratt says:

The Seagull is thinking: “I think I’ll have a rest in that chair. Yes, fries with that! “

    • Eliza Waters says:

The gulls were better behaved than in previous years when they’d raid the bags looking for food! This guy kept hoping we’d have pity upon him and throw a scrap. He waited in vain, sorry to say.

  4. Laurie Graves says:

What could be better than a day at the beach?

  5. Beautiful series, Eliza 🙂

The last one is simply superb 🙂

  6. One of those wish I was there series! Lovely shots.

    • Eliza Waters says:

Thank you, Victor. It was a PERFECT day, really. Worried about salt and salt, I took the old Sony point and shoot my spouse uses for work, but it really, really needs to be cleaned. A lot of time in post processing 😉

      • I know all about cleaning files and worry about the elements. Maybe I worry to much 🙂

      • Eliza Waters says:

When you’ve invested a fair amount of money into equipment, I think it is wise to be cautious. Better to be safe than sorry. To me, bringing a nice camera to the beach with its sand and salt, I’m asking for trouble!

  7. Murtagh's Meadow says:

    Perfect day by the sea:)

  8. Val Boyko says:

Good for you! Breathe deeply 🌞

  9. Looks just like our beach from the other side of the ocean! We are looking at you from across the pond in France!

  10. dorannrule says:

    Ooooh…how I wish I was there!

  11. So lovely *sigh* you just want to be there…! The last one makes me chuckle… nice perspective 😉

  12. MK says:

I can feel the sun & breeze on my skin, and smell the salt. I especially admire the absence of crowds. I’d love to be there.

    • Eliza Waters says:

We walk down away from the lifeguarded beaches so we end up in the middle. Surprisingly, no one came and parked next to us, which was great. The crowds came in the afternoon, mostly locals. I need lots of space and get crazy being cheek-by-jowl. I’m used to peace and quiet!
The morning was the best, smooth water and the clearest I’ve ever seen it. Delightful for swimming. I wish I could have stretched time!

  13. Inviting scenes! Love the gull taking it all in.

  14. Trini Lind says:

    Oh, I loooove these!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

  15. dianaed2013 says:
