“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” – Melody Beattie
Even though tomorrow is an American holiday, I wish for everyone, whether here or abroad, a full and grateful heart on this day and all days. Abundant blessings!
Perfectly stated!

Even on the bad days I always go threw the list of what I am grateful for.. By some people standards I don’t have much but by my standards I have so much to be grateful for .

I love your quote and photo, Eliza. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Not for the feasting, but for how much we have to be thankful for, and to keep gratitude in my mind.
Thanks, Micheal. It is nice to have a day set aside to focus on one’s blessings with heartfelt gratitude. I try to do that on a daily basis, but when everyone is doing it, it must raise the vibe, don’t you think?
I hadn’t thought of that, but yes of course. Perhaps we should have a day of thanks on the last Thursday of every month.
